Kim is a writer and professional people gatherer who splits her time between Vermont and Washington, DC. A former restaurant /night club owner and freelance writer, she’s now content to dedicate herself to her writing full time, while also creating space for others to connect with their writing and with each other. 

Caren is the award-winning author of Henderson House and a big believer in the power of writing in community. In addition to working on her next historical fiction novel and running the conference, Caren is the host of GNAT-TV’s So VT Book Talk and a producer and scriptwriter of the upcoming feature-length documentary An Arrow Shot Through Time.
